If you entered the data correctly FastBound will accept the connection and you’ll see a success confirmation.

Step Two – Choose which Product Categories Contain your Regulated Items

MicroBiz allows you to choose which product categories contain your firearms and regulated items.   When you add an item in a category selected on this screen, MicroBiz will alert you that the vendor shipment or customer order contains a regulated item and provide the status of the associated FastBound A&D transaction.

Step Three – Make Adjustments to MicroBiz Advanced Settings

There are a couple of settings in the MicroBiz Advanced Settings page (Settings>General>Advanced Settings that you may want to change if you are going to integrate with FastBound.

Activate Show Product Firearm Flag option? – By default, products in your ‘firearm’ category will trigger a prompt for a FastBound acquisition/disposition.  But there may be some circumstances where items outside these categories should be subject to a FastBound A&D transaction.  Selecting this checkbox will cause a ‘Is a Firearm?’ checkbox setting to appear in the product record.  When this checkbox is selected, the item will be subject to a FastBound A&D transaction regardless of the product’s category.

Activate Show County in Customer Addresses?  Certain reports require the county of the firearm purchaser.  This setting with cause a ‘county’ field to appear in the customer’s address block.
