If you have been using FastBound for a period of time prior to starting up with MicroBiz, you may have contacts in FastBound that would be helpful to have in MicroBiz.

The FastBound integration wizard in MicroBiz allows you to import your FastBound contact into MicroBiz as customer records.

Go to Settings>Integrations>FastBound>Contacts.  This will display all your FastBound contacts.  

You can sync the FastBound contact to a MicroBiz customer record in two ways.

1. In the right most column, you will see either a gray link icon or an orange cloud icon.   An orange icon means that the FastBound contact is linked to a MicroBiz customer.  If you see a gray link icon, its not linked.  You can click on the gray link icon to push the contact to MicroBiz as a customer.
2. You can also do this in bulk by selecting the FastBound contacts that you want to push to MicroBiz as customers and then press the orange ‘Import into MicroBiz’ button.

How to Link an Existing MicroBiz Customer to an Existing FastBound Contact

You can connect an existing MicroBiz customer to a FastBound contact using the Edit Customer pop-up form.

When using the register, add a customer to a transaction and press the Edit Customer button in the Action Panel>Customer.  You will see a button labeled ‘Search FastBound Contacts’.

Pressing this button will open the FastBound Contacts search screen and MicroBiz will attempt to match the MicroBiz customer to a FastBound contact using the last name of the customer.   You can also modify the search criteria.

If you find a match, you can select the FastBound contact and press the ‘Link FastBound Contact ’ button.

You can push the customer from MicroBiz to FastBound if does not exist as a FastBound contact.

If you have a customer record in MicroBiz that matches a contact in FastBound we can link these records to simplify future transactions. Use the ‘Link FastBound Contact’ button on the Edit Customer Pop-up.
