Overview
--------
Marketing Hub lets you send email campaigns, build audiences, run automations (such as a welcome email), and manage, email and SMS marketing consent on customer profiles.
Marketing Hub works with or without Range Management. If you use Range, waiver data can power segments and reminder automations.
Before you begin
----------------
1. Your organization's plan must include Marketing Hub. Contact your platform admin if you do not see it in the app switcher.
2. SendGrid must be configured at the platform level (Admin Integrations). Without it, you can save settings but cannot send email.
3. Assign staff marketing roles under Settings → User Roles.
Access Marketing Hub
--------------------
1. Sign in to MicroBiz Hub.
2. In the header, open the module switcher (shows the current module name, such as "Price Comparison").
3. Select Marketing Hub.
4. The sidebar updates to show:
- Campaigns
- Automations
- Audiences
- Customers
- Marketing Settings
You can also open Marketing Hub from MicroBiz if your POS integration supports it.
First-time setup checklist
--------------------------
1. Open Marketing Settings and set your reply-to email and physical mailing address (required for CAN-SPAM compliance).
2. Review Automations — enable the welcome email if desired.
3. Open Customers and confirm you have subscribed contacts (from waivers or manual entry).
4. Create a test segment or use All subscribed for your first campaign.
Tips
----
- Customers must be subscribed to receive campaigns. Use the customer profile Consents tab to update status.
- Minors and placeholder emails are never mailed.
- Switch back to other modules (Range, Price Comparison) using the same header switcher.
