In MicroBiz Cloud, user has ability to make a return to gift card however there are specific steps required to do this.

To do this, you will need to 'sell' a gift card with an amount equal to the value of the items being returned.  You do not 'return' the item to a gift card vendor.

Steps:

1) Add item being returned to register screen

2) Select the line item and click the 'Return Item'  button from the Action Menu>Items panel

3) Note value of item being returned

4) Press Sell Gift Card button (Action Panel>Transaction>Sell Gift Cards)

5) Scan barcode of any activated card and enter an amount equal to the credit balance of the item being returned.
