MicroBiz manages sales by assigning a salesperson to the transaction or to lines in a transaction.

By default, the cashier logged into the register is treated as the Salesperson.

If the salesperson is different than the cashier, using the Action Panel on the register you can use the 'Assign Salesperson' button to attached a selected employee (the saleperson) to the entire transaction (Transaction>Assign Salesperson) 

or to a line item(s) (Items>Assign Salesperson). 

You can then generate an Excel file showing the sales assigned to salespeople using two reports: (1) Sales by Salesperson or (2) Sales by Transaction LIne. 

Both of these reports can be filtered by product category (for example Beds vs Furniture vs Bedding).

 All reports can be exported using the Export icon at the top right.
