How do I collect payment with a gift card?

Before you collect payments with a gift card, it is required to first register a of Gift Cards in your system.

After setting up a range of gift cards you should be able to Sell Gift Cards to your clients if that gift card number is activated in your system.

Complete a transaction with collecting payments with a gift card:

Start a Sale transaction from the frong register or customer order module
Click on Pay button.
From the payment option select the 'Gift Card' payment method. If the Gift Card button is not visible, please check the payment options settings used to control what will be shown on an individual register when ringing up a sale. Go to Settings >> Company/Stores >> Registers and enable gift card payment type.

4. Enter Gift Card Number or Scan the Card as prompted

5. Click on Ok button

6. Enter the Amount that should be sold or applied to the card.

7. Click/Touch "Apply to Transaction" Button.

8. Finally click on "Done" button so that the transaction can be completed.
