Problem


I’m getting a 'terminal has not registered yet' error trying to pair my new credit card terminal.

 

Solutions

  1. Make sure Terminal is plugged in and says 'POS online'If it doesn’t show this message, make sure that the power is on and that the terminal is connected to your network via the LAN (ethernet) cable or WiFi – see your terminal’s documentation for specifics of your terminal’s connection steps.
  2. Make sure you’re typing in the correct serial number! A wrong serial number will cause this error.
